Barton and District AC - BARTON OPEN CROSS COUNTRY RACES

BARTON AND DISTRICT 30th OPEN CROSS COUNTRY MEETING

It was a crisp and fresh morning that greeted the athletes who competed today at a picturesque Baysgarth Park. The ground had dried enough to make it tacky but not boggy thankfully and all races were very well attended.

Also a huge thankyou to everyone who made the event possible, the local traders who sponsored the event, all the friends and members of Barton and District AC, not to mention the competitors who mostly "enjoyed" their multiple laps around an unforgiving course (especially on the long lap)

Gregan Clarkson (230) from KUHAC who won the Senior Men XC . Also pictured Andrew Lewis (241 U/A) who finished 3rd and Nic Howard or Skyrac (4th 236)


Barton & District's Matt Nettleton who finished as 2nd Junior Man in 8th place overall


Natalie Farrow and Lucinda Pitcher (both LWAC) 1st and 2nd in Senior Women's Race
