Our team of experienced coaches and run leaders at Barton and District AC are here to help you reach your full potential. Whether you’re aiming to improve your race times, build endurance, or simply enjoy running as part of a supportive community, our coaches and leaders provide expert guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

Club Coaches
The Club has a number of UKA Level 2, 1 and Assistant Club Coaches plus a network of volunteers and helpers.
As a Club we are committed to developing our coaches, volunteers/helpers to gain UK Athletics recognised qualifications at a pace which suits the individual. If you are interested in getting involved with the Youth and Junior sections please make yourself known to one of the coaching team.

Officials
The Club is supported by a team of dedicated UKA-qualified officials, including time keepers, starters, track judges and field officials, who help ensure our events run smoothly, fairly and in line with national standards.
We actively encourage members to get involved in officiating and offer support to help individuals gain the necessary UK Athletics qualifications. If you’re interested in learning more or getting involved, please speak to one of our existing officials or a member of the committee.

Run Leaders
The Senior Section of the Club have a group of qualified England Athletics Run Leaders who in conjunction with who will lead groups of runners on training nights, with the aim of supporting runners of all capabilities.
