Joining Barton & District AC is more than just becoming part of a Club — it’s about joining a supportive and inspiring community of athletes of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a junior just starting out, an experienced road runner, or somewhere in between, we’d love to welcome you to the Barton & District AC family.
How To Join
Joining is simple!
- Complete the BADAC18 New Members Form – This form includes all the details we need to process your membership.
- Email your completed form to membership.badac@gmail.com.
- Once your application has been processed, you’ll receive confirmation and more information about training sessions and Club events.
Junior/Youth Membership (2026 Update)
We expect to be opening membership for new juniors and youth athletes in 2026.
- If you would like your child to be added to the waiting list, please email their details to junior.membership.badac@gmail.com
- Spaces are limited, so registering interest early is recommended!
Membership Fees
Annual subscription fees are due for renewal every April. Current members will receive a payment request from UK Athletics at the beginning of April.

What’s Included in Your Membership?
Your membership fee helps cover:
✅ Your UK Athletics competition licence (if applicable).
✅ Coaching courses to keep our leaders qualified and up to date.
✅ Subsidised transport to events.
✅ Club events and activities throughout the year..
Over 8 to Under 11
For members under the age of 11 on 31st August of the current year
11 and over
Includes:
- BADAC Club fee
- £23 UKA fee
- Northern Athletics fee.
For members aged 11+ on 31st August of the current year
2nd Claim Member
Must already have UKA affiliation with another Club
Training Fees
- The charge is £2 per session, payable in four quarterly payments of £20 via the Spond App.
- Payments are due by the first Thursday in May, August, November, and February to retain your place in the Club.
- The Club runs 50 sessions a year (with a two-week break at Christmas). To allow for holidays, illness, etc., the fee covers 40 sessions per year, allowing up to 10 missed sessions annually without penalty.

Data Protection Notice
When you become a member (or renew your membership) with Barton & District AC, you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics.
- We will share your personal data with England Athletics to enable access to the MyAthletics online portal.
- England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign in and update your personal details and privacy settings.
