A fantastic turnout of Barton & District AC at the Brigg 10k & Military Challenge event in Brigg on Sunday 26th October. Curly’s host the great potential PB course alongside a challenging military challenge starting and finishing in Brigg Market Place in support of the British Royal Legion.
Craig Barker of Goole Viking Striders was victorious in the Military Event finishing in 43:26 whilst carrying a 36lb backpack. Rob Payne (31:39) and Trish Jackman (34:58) were the first finishers over the 10k event.
Mark Nettleton, Caron Adamson, Paul Anclifee, Donna Croft, Hazel White, Janice Clipson, Trevor Clark, Alison Nettleton, Martina Hodgson, Samantha Mason, Susan Ancliffe, Tamzen Maslin, Carol Clayton, Joanne Dinsdale and Eleanor Georgiou all finished strongly with Mark and Janice finishing 2nd in their age categories and Caron and Trevor 3rd in theirs.
