The ABP Coastal Half Marathon and 10k races took place on Sunday 21st September in Cleethorpes with participants noting the flat course with scenic views of the Humber Estuary.
The courses for both race distances are known for being fast, flat and scenic with finishes on the seafront where spectators line the promenade to cheer them in.
William Edwards and Emma Ellerington participated in the half marathon which was won by Lincoln Wellington’s William Strangeway (1:08:59) with his club mate Natalie Burns the first lady across the line (1:23:32).
Caron Adamson, Sean Bartlett, Ronda Rushby, Martyn Rushby and Andrea Clark completed the 10k for Barton & District AC behind local Cleethorpes AC athlete Rob Payne (32:19) and Sherene Wilson (City of Hull AC) first female in 38:22.
