Thousands of runners laced up their running shoes for the Run for All Leeds Abbey Dash 10k on Sunday 30th November 2025. Run for All took over this event this year from AgeUK who organised it for 40+ years previously.
Starting on Wellington Street, the race winds its way around the city centre, up Kirkstall Road towards Kirkstall Abbey before returning to the city centre to finish.
The 2025 event took place on Sunday 30th November and was selected as the England Athletics 10k Championship Event, making it a key event on the national road racing calendar with a renewed focus on elite performance alongside mass participation.
A late invitation into the elite field resulted in Oliver Donkin achieving his first sub 30 minute 10k with a time of 29:55, finishing in 13th place overall behind winner James McMurray (28:52). First lady finisher was Melissa Courtney-Bryant in 31:37.
An amazing achievement for Oli who had worked all year towards this goal.
Also taking part in the masses was Zoe Adams in her BADAC colours. Great running both of you.
