On Sunday 5th October, the autumn edition of The Rasselbock Run 2025 took place at Sherwood Pines in Nottinghamshire, organised by Rasselbock Running. Over the course of six hours on a looped forest trail of approximately 3.6 miles (5.79 km) per lap, participants tackled a mix of woodland single-track and gravel access roads.
Just a day after Storm Amy wreaked havoc with parkrun and events throughout the country, runners gathered at Sherwood Pines for one of Rasselbock Running’s signature events; a relaxed yet challenging 6-hour loop event through the forest.
Sue Oldfield, Tracy Chaplin, Sharon Bullivent and Christy Pearson all completed 6 laps, covering 34.72km. Martina Hodgson was just short of her forest friends with five laps (28.94km) with Zoe Tansley and Jenny Bennett looping 4 and 3 times respectively.
